Quoted as “an entertainer with the whole package”, Brandon Wood has been seen by thousands on stages across the globe. Having a solid foundation and ability in voice, dance, acting and gymnastics, he has had the privilege of travelling internationally performing on a number of cruise lines; most recently as a lead singer/dancer on the prestigious six-star ‘Crystal World Cruises’. Brandon has danced for Toyota and Porsche International Dealers Conferences, was a full-time faculty member with the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede, a choreographer for the 2014 World Champion Showband Dancers and was an inaugural member of Calgary’s contemporary dance group, ‘O2 The Dance Company’. For several years, Brandon also travelled internationally as a Lead Master Instructor, Course Conductor and Examiner with Acrobatique AcroDance.
He is a sought after adjudicator for dance and talent competitions and has been nominated for several awards for personal performances and for choreography. Brandon was one of few Canadians to workshop a new Broadway musical ‘Lou-Lou’ (from the producers of Tony Award winning ‘Memphis’), and shared the stage with Tony Award winners and Drama Desk Award winners alike. He has been privileged enough to play such roles as Jamie in ‘The Last Five Years’, Joseph in ‘Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat’, John Brooke in ‘Little Women’ and Rolf in ‘The
Sound of Music’. He also shared the stage with Ben Heppner in the Canadian Premiere of “Moby Dick” with the Calgary Opera.
